Dr. Marko Hočevar je asistent in mladi raziskovalec na Fakulteti za družbene vede. Raziskovalno se ukvarja z zgodovino političnih idej, sodobno politično teorijo, krizo liberalne demokracija in transformacijo kapitalistične države v zadnjih dveh desetletjih. Zanimajo ga predvsem novejše marksistične in foucaultovske teorije države, empirične in teoretske razlage vpliva vzpona neoliberalizma na krizo liberalne demokracije in naslavljanje alternativ kapitalistični svetovni ureditvi.

Dr. Marko Hočevar is a teaching assistant and young researcher at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana. His research interests include the history of political ideas, contemporary political theory, the crisis of liberal democracy, and the transformation of the capitalist state over the past two decades. He is primarily interested in recent Marxist and Foucault theories of the state, empirical and theoretical explanations of the neoliberalism and its impact on the crisis of liberal democracy, and in addressing the alternatives to the capitalist world order.
