In the context of Youth for Climate Justice (MZPP), Jan Štrukelj is finding a better future for everyone, especially for those without a voice. The confrontational actions he devises together with other activists set up a mirror for those responsible and remind them that the moment to start solving the climate crisis is long gone. Jan managed to set up the largest mirror so far as one of the coordinators in the movement For drinking water, where, together with 700,000 Slovenes, he decisively said what kind of environmental policy we do not want. An economics graduate, he sees climate activism as a bridge that gives groups with less power an equal voice in a democracy. For fish, for birds, for workers’ rights!
